Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to commonly asked questions
Do I need to be a USPSA/PCSL/OPSA member to shoot a match?
No, membership to any organization is not required for local matches.
Do I need competition shooting gear?
Nope! A safe handgun and ammunition are all you need to get started for our fun match. USPSA and PCSL a holster that fully covers the trigger guard is also required.
What is a cold range?
At our matches your handgun must be unloaded at all times until an RO directs you to make ready. Please bring your handgun to the range safely cased and unloaded, and proceed to a safe table before holstering.
How do I register for a match?
Visit our practiscore, linked on the monthly matches tab of our website, select the match you’d like to compete in, fill in your information, and you’re done!
I don’t see any matches on practiscore
We usually post our matches the week of the match, so if you don’t see anything yet, check back soon.
What kind of gun can I use?
For our handgun only matches, almost anything can work, however a full size, semi auto handgun with 2 or more magazines will be optimal.
