Monthly Matches:
July 13th: Second Sunday PCSL 2 gun. We’ve been having a ton of fun with our PCSL matches, and Bryan has been doing a great job integrating unique props and stages. Come out and get some time on your rifles! If you don’t have something suitable, it’s easy to share a rifle with a friend.
July 19th: Third Saturday Fun Match. Our monthly intro match, perfect to test the waters for practical shooting, or, if you’re already an expert, come and get some more trigger time!
July 26th: Fourth Saturday .22NRL. The second ever .22NRL match hosted by OPSA. Our first match is looking like it will be a great success, Don and Derek got all the necessary props made, and they look great!
July 27th: Fourth Sunday USPSA. This month will be our “All Classifier” match, we will be having 6 classifier stages. We will try and get the match on practiscore a little early with the stages posted, so everyone has a chance to see the stages beforehand. If you’ve been wanting to earn your classification, or just joined USPSA, this is the perfect opportunity!
June Meeting Recap:
Match Attendance: We had a total of 44 shooters come out between our USPSA and PCSL matches, the May Fun Match was cancelled.
Workday: Our workday was a big success, and we were able to fix props, clean and organize the conexs, and take a full inventory of our equipment.
Sectionals: Sectionals is coming up quickly, we are looking very well staffed this year, and if you would like to help, reach out to Jeremy Kirshbaum. They are planning for 14 stages this year, and negotiations with the host range have been settled. Sign up on practiscore if you haven’t already!
New Props: We discussed acquiring a new variation of moving target, the “sidewinder” discussion was tabled until August while we evaluate our use of our current props.
